KillaHurtz
KillaHurtz has been making music his whole adult life and before (he got his first drum kit at the age of eleven). He caught the dubstep bug while studying music tech at City College in Manchester. Joe McBridge (Synkro) gave him a jump start with a bunch of samples and he hasn’t looked back. With releases on PlayMe2, Foul Play, Imperative and Eight:FX, KillaHurtz has been making waves. Snapped up Stanton DJ with an endorsement deal, he has joined electronic band //MIDNIGHT// and continues to push the envelope with his own productions. Rooted in dubstep, KillaHurtz strongly believes in splicing genres to form new creations.
KillaHurtz’ forthcoming release Wanna Be Free EP on Inna Riddim Records, with influences from 2step, house, and old skool, shows the latest incarnation of his restless creativity.
